Tri-City Barber College is Licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Barber Examiners, Kentucky Department of Education, Bureau of Rehabilitation Service, and is approved by the State Approving Agency to offer Veterans Educational Benefits.
Enrollment Requirements
Kentucky State Law requires that applicants for enrollment in a school of Barbering have a four (4) year High School education evidenced by a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) grade of forty five (45). Applicant must also be of good moral character.
Credit for Previous Training
Credit is given for previous training provided the persons skill, ability, and knowledge meet our standards and does not, in any way, conflict with any laws, rules, and regulations of the Kentucky State Board of Barber Examiners.
Enrollment Dates
Enrollments are accepted when vacancies exist. An exact enrollment date is assigned on completion of school pre-entrance requirements and acceptance. Enrollment is for nine (9) months. It will take 188 actual days in attendance to complete the required number of hours. Kentucky State Barber Board requires 1500 hours for graduation.
Placement
Kentucky law prohibits school from guaranteeing employment; however, the school does assist in employment.
